Congratulations to the Camden Creative Arts High School Jazz Band on winning the NJAJE Division 1 State Championship for the 2nd year in row under the direction of Jamal Dickerson. The band traveled up to J.P. Stevens High School in Edison N.J. to compete with 8 other jazz ensembles that qualified for the championships back in March. Junior trombonist Michael Spearman was awarded 1 of the 4 top soloist of the championships and the Trombone Section won a best section award. Since this is the final competition for this season, the Booster would like to give a special shout out to our senior band members:
